● The 1966 Swap Meet was held at Joe Fisher Ford on March 5th & 6th. Jim
Gordan from RCMTC was Chairman of the Swap Meet. The club doanted $50 for expenses and recieved $65.68 at the end of the Swap Meet. The RCMTC women’s concession stand received $45.76
● At the 1967 Swap Meet, Jim Gordan continued as Swap Meet Chairman. The Swap Meet was held in a newly built warehouse owned by D.H. Overmyer and located in the industrial park at NE 181st and I84.
● 1968 saw the Swap Meet expanded to include HACO, Rose City Model T Club, Vintage Chevrolet, Horseless Carriage, and Beaver Chapter Model A.
● The 1969 Swap Meet was held on March 1st & 2nd in a warehouse owned by D.H. Overmyer located at 5555 SW 107th Beaverton, Oregon
● The 1970 Swap Meet was moved to the Expo Center where it remains today.
We are now celebrating our 53rd annual Portland Swap Meet where the Rose City Model T Club has been participating since 1964. We look forward to many more years.
