Six members of the Petrolia Lions were among the people honoured with Ontario Volunteer Service Awards in Sarnia Monday. Eugene Graham, Joe Madacsi, Rudy Krall, Doug Dew, Charlie Conrod and John Tiernay have served the club between 35 to 45 years each, giving them 252 years of combined service. Members of the Petrolia Scouts leadership were also honoured for their service as were a number of individuals who do everything from volunteer at local nursing homes, on hospital boards or work in community television. The ceremony was the rst of 55 across the province. In all in Sarnia-Lambton, the volunteers had a total of 3,320 years of experience.
