Death Notices
The Municipal O ce will be closed the week of December 25, 2017 and will re-open with regular business hours on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
Township of Enniskillen
Notice of Public Meeting
Concerning Proposed
O cial Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Enniskillen will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Township’s Municipal O ce at 4465 Rokeby Line (corner of Oil Heritage Road) to consider proposed O cial Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments under Sections 21 and 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.
The Purpose and E ect of the Proposed O cial Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments is to incorporate “housekeeping” updates
into the documents. Items proposed to be addressed include updates to minimum distance separation guidelines, use of shipping containers, public consultation procedures, “built form” policies, front and exterior side yard setbacks in agricultural zones, and provisions respecting when environmental impact studies (EIS) are required. Amendments would eliminate EIS requirements in certain circumstances and generally give Council greater exibility to waive EIS requirements, particularly on lands adjacent to natural heritage features.
Written submissions in respect of the proposed O cial Plan and/ or Zoning By-law amendments can be submitted to the o cial listed below or at the Public Meeting.
A key map is not provided as the amendments a ect the entire Municipality.
Additional information and material, including a copy of the proposed O cial Plan and Zoning By-law amendments, are available
