We have updated the Explore Search functionality to indicate the number of matching patent applications. The “Query explained” section within the Explore Search feature now
includes the number of publications when one document per application is selected.
Explore Search update
Users can see the breakdown of results displayed in the table, clearly outlining the number of results for each individual search term and field within the search query.
The PatBase Family Table has a brand-new look with all icons now appearing on the right-hand side for consistency and ease-of-use.
The new three vertical dots icon opens a quick access menu to available publication pages when clicked. This new feature makes it easier for users to access the claims, description, TextMine, Family Explorer and translate tabs for a publication.
New Family Table design and functions
An update to the headers in the
Family Table now permits columns
to be sorted on a per family basis.
Users can sort publications within
the table by publication number,
publication date, application number or application date, descending or ascending without needing to change the default sorting options.
