Orthoplast® II
• A low-temperature thermoplastic with excellent drape, moldability and rigidity
Handling Characteristics
• Highly drapable and moldable for close fit
• Self-adhering with solvent bonding; edges trim and finish nicely
• Heats at 150°–160°F; working time is 3 to 4 minutes
• Finished splints can be riveted, strapped, bonded, hinged or butt-bonded
Applications
• Ideal for static or dynamic splints
• Works for intricate finger splints, small hand splints and wrist splints
