Adjustable
Exos uses the exclusive Boa® reel and lace system for dynamic compression, allowing:
• Expansion to allow for initial swelling and to reduce the risk of Compartment Syndrome
• Tension modification for custom fit despite atrophy or changes in soft tissue
• Improved patient comfort and fit
1. Simply heat brace in our oven for 3-5 minutes
2. Open and slide onto patient’s limb
3. Gently mold and adjust for a snug, comfortable fit
4. Use the reel and lace to tighten as needed
• Immobilizes the base of the thumb to stabilize injuries to the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) , fractures or avulsion injuries to the proximal first phalanx or distal first metacarpal, severe sprains
of the thumb, or for arthritic conditions involving the metacarpal phalangeal (MCP) joint
• This device will not stabilize the carpo-metacarpal (CMC) joint
