Common Asymmetries
                                                      
Kyphosis – Exaggeration of the posterior curve of the thoracic spine
Lordosis – Exaggeration of the forward curvature of the lumbar spine. Often witnessed in patients with
excessive soft tissue to the anterior trunk Scoliosis – Lateral lean of the trunk or spine
KYPHOSIS LORDOSIS SCOLIOSIS
Pelvic Obliquity – An asymmetry noted when one half of the pelvis is lower than the opposing side. Measured from seat to iliac crest, and named for the low side of the pelvis
               – An asymmetry noted when one half of the pelvis is positioned more anteriorly than the opposing side
                    – Presents when one leg is adducted, and crossing midline, and the opposing leg is abducted
