Splinting Padding Materials: Closed-Cell & Gel Padding
Ideal for fabrication of arthritis splints
Plastazote® Foam Material. Foam material can be heat activated and formed into soft, lightweight splints. Heat in an oven at 285°F (140°C). Can be laminated by placing one piece on top of another and heating. Can be used for arthritis splints and cervical collars. Latex free.
MicrofoamTM Tape. Water-resistant, hy- poallergenic and highly conformable. This closed-cell foam tape stretches in all direc- tions—excellent for lining finger or small hand splints. Protects skin and cushions splint edges. May be worn as compression wrap for edematous fingers. Self-adhesive backing leaves no tape residue. 51/2 yds. (5.03m). Latex free.

Foam-O-Felt. This composite combines pure wool felt with a latex foam surface, which absorbs pressure and cushions im- pact.
