Splinting Fracture Bracing
Exos Wrist Brace. Intended for carpal bone injuries such as lunate, pisiform or triquietral fractures, scapho-lunate disloca- tions, triangular fibro-cartilage complex (TFCC) tears, radio-carpal ligament injuries, or minimally displaced or stable distal radius or distal styloid fractures. Adjustable closure system provides for minute adjustments in circumferential compression of the brace.
Exos Long Thumb Spica. Provides
primary stabilization for the first metacarpal- phalangeal (MCP) and first carpo-metacarpal (CMC) joints, as well as secondary support for the radio-carpal and radio-ulnar wrist joints. Provides stability for injuries to the base of the thumb at the CMC joint, such as Bennet’s or Rolando’s fractures, or to stabi- lize a painful CMC joint from arthritis.
Exos Wrist Brace with Boa®. Intended for carpal bone injuries such as lunate, pisiform, or triquietral fractures, scapho-lunate dislo- cations, triangular fibro-cartilage complex (TFCC) tears, radio-carpal ligament injuries
or minimally displaced or stable distal radius or distal styloid fractures. Adjustable closure system provides for minute adjustments in cir- cumferential compression of the brace.
Exos Long Thumb Spica with Boa®. For primary stabilization for the first metacarpal- phalangeal (MCP) and first carpo-metacarpal (CMC) joints, as well as secondary support for the radio-carpal and radio-ulnar wrist joints. Provides stability for injuries to the base of the thumb at the CMC joint, such as Bennet’s or Rolando’s fractures, or stability for a painful CMC joint from arthritis.
Exos Short Arm Fracture Brace. The signature feature of this fracture brace is the Boa® adjustable closure system that provides for minute adjustments in circum- ferential compression. Post-operatively, this adjustability allows loosening and/
or removal to examine a patient's wound without needing to cut off or replace a cast. Provides support and protection for major injuries to the wrist.
Exos Thumb Spica Fracture Brace.
Provides stability and support for injuries to the first metacarpal-phalangeal (MCP) joint, the first carpo-metacarpal (CMC) joint and the wrist joint. The TSFB is indicated for all injuries to the thumb, such as Bennett’s or complex Rolando’s fractures, suspected or confirmed navicular (scaphoid) fractures and for other carpal bone injuries. The thumb extension, which completely immobilizes the first digit, can be trimmed to any length to allow varied thumb flexion.
