10 The Air-Soft® resting hand splint is a light and comfortable wrist orthosis that provides support for the wrist, hand, fingers and thumb. Air-Soft is a suitable orthosis for patients with Oedema, pain or those in need of support during a long-term immobilisation of the wrist, without presence of spasticity. The frame is lightweight and the different needs of the patient can be accommodated easily by adjusting the frame. The textile cover is made from a ventilated and comfortable foam material. The attachment for the straps features a hook receivable material so that the straps can be attached anywhere on the outside of the orthosis. The orthosis can be machine washed if a laundry bag is used.
