Splinting Splinting Materials
Orfit® Strips. These precut
strips are made from Orfit Colors NS and allow for quick and
easy fabrication of orthoses, outrig- gers and rehabilitation aids. Orfit Strips offer multiple application pos- sibilities!
Anti-swan and/or anti-claw orthoses are made with ease. Orfit Strips are available in two widths and two thicknesses.

X-Lite® Thermoplastic. Low-temperature thermoplastic has
open weave for lightweight, well-ventilated splints. Material is self- bonding, so splint rigidity is easily increased by using multiple layers. Excellent material for seating/positioning inserts or for building up tool handles. Use the X-Lite finishing tape for the edges of the splint and the specially coated hook to attach strapping.
