KO KMO® Knee Orthosis. Featuring a single posterior joint, the Knee Management Orthosis is a cost-effective, patient-friendly, simple approach for static-progressive positioning management of the knee. The design allows for a quick fit and has a comfortable terry cloth lined system. It enables pre and post operative management of bony and soft tissue injuries, as well as CVA, TBI, CSI, CP and MS. Other features include adjustable range of stabilization of the knee in the sagittal and/or the coronal plane; static progressive positioning from 0˚ to 110˚ (additional ROM may be attained depending on size of patient’s leg); and adjustable length from 12.5” to 16.5” (Pediatric) and from 17” to 26” (Adult). Adjustable splint length and cuff circumference reduce inventory because one adult and one pediatric size fits most.
OCSI Static Air Knee Orthosis. Includes two removable inflation bladders for adjust-
able low stretch therapy and two static setting hinges to control or maintain knee position. Washable softgoods are treated with Bacti-BanTM and Kool-WickTM to wick away moisture. An effective treatment against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including mold, yeast, fungi, mildew and bacteria. Latex free.
DynaProTM Flex Knee Orthotics. These flexible static braces with dynamic properties are bioengineered to effectively treat neurocontractures. Patented negative tension force will “give” with episodes of abnormal tone to accommodate spastic episodes. Abnormal reflex arc therapy, provided by the brace, can reduce the intensity and duration of spasticity over time. DynaProTM Orthotics are fit to gently “flex” into contractures to reverse lost range of motion. Neuro-Dynamic Therapy for mild to moderate contractures/spasticity of the knee. Reverses contractures and spasticity in non-ambulatory patients. Provides dynamic low load prolonged stretch and neurorehabilitation. Patented negative non-linear “flex” properties accommodates involuntary muscle contractions. Gel pads in the thigh, calf and knee pad provide pressure relief and added comfort. Latex free.
