A. Rolyan® Posterior Leaf Splint. Multipurpose light-weight splint for semi-rigid support. Promotes dorsiflexion in flaccid extremities. Fits most patients and worn in most flat shoes. Minor modifications can be made with a heat gun. Latex free.
B. Rolyan® Ankle Foot Orthosis. Lightweight orthosis pro- motes dorsiflexion. Provides slight medial and lateral support for unstable ankles and greater rigidity to resist mild extensor spas- ticity. Larger foot plate gives more support to the forefoot. Minor modifications can be made with heat gun. Latex free.
C. Rolyan® Extra FlexTM PLS. Promotes dorsiflexion with a shorter foot plate and smaller calf cuff than the Rolyan® Posterior Leaf Splint. Less rigid, but will fit a more diverse population. Latex free.

Contracture Management Ankle / Foot Orthoses
Swedish AFO. Static dorsiflexion assistance and lat- eral stability for the entire foot-ankle area is provided by this polyethylene splint. Thicker on the vertical aspect for rigidity. Footplate can be trimmed with scissors. A heat gun may be used for customizing. The low arch and open heel give it a streamlined pro- file that fits easily into any shoe. Padded hook & loop strap. Women’s fits up to Women’s shoe size 91/2. Men’s fits up to Men’s size 12.
Ankle/Foot Orthosis. This fuller polypropylene orthosis provides greater medial lateral support for unstable ankles and greater rigidity to resist extensor spasticity. Larger foot plate gives more support to the forefoot. Fits most clients. Includes a 2” hook and loop strap. Larger shoe may be necessary to accommodate this AFO. Latex free.
Prefabricated Posterior Leaf Splint.
Made of translucent polypropylene plastic, its flexible, lightweight and provides comfortable, firm support. The splint can be fit immediately on most clients and worn in most flat shoes. Minor modifications possible with a heat gun. Has a 2”-wide, soft hook and loop strap. Larger shoe may be necessary to accommodate splint. Latex free.
