ComfyTM Boot. For treatment of plantar flexion contractures, foot drop, and internal/external hip rotation. Resilient plantar surface resists plantar flexion. Heel is elevated by shape of orthosis as well as the soft cover in order to prevent/aid in the treatment of pressure areas. Includes washable one-piece cover and anti-rotation bar. Antimicrobial surface protector creates an invisible shield against mold, mildew, stains, bacteria, fungus and algae to help protect against skin breakdown and greatly reduce risk of infection. Available with a traditional fleece-lined cover or more breathable soft Headliner cover, and with or without ambulation pad. Universal sizing. Adult Size fits 12”–16” calf circumferences, shoe sizes up to a Men’s 12, and include an extender kit to accommodate a wider or edematous foot. Peds Size fits 6”–11” calf circumferences and children’s shoe sizes 5–13.

ComfyTM Adjustable Boot. Now available in an adjustable version. The toe post is easily adjusted to relieve toe pressure and to accommodate variations in foot size. Includes an extender for wider or edematous feet. Dorsiflexion straps can be pulled to the desired degree to prevent plantar flexion. Ankle flap secures to prevent flexing. The rotator bar can be positioned to control hip and leg rotation. Heel floats to prevent areas of breakdown. Made with comfortable broadcloth material. All Comfy boots now come with an Antimicrobial surface protector that creates an invisible shield against mold and mildew, stains, bacteria fungus and algae. This agent helps protect against skin breakdown and greatly reduces risk of infection.
ComfyTM Spring Loaded Goniometer Ankle Foot Orthosis. Same features as the Comfy Boot above plus a spring load provide a gentle push to ankle dorsiflexion as the foot goes into plantar flexion. The goniometer can be set and reset for the amount of flexion and extension desired. Alternative to serial casting allows progressive increases in ankle ROM. Universal sizing.
