EDITOR’S NOTE: I still love the city of Bassett, Nebraska and all who live there. But the state of
Nebraska still does not believe in freedom of choice regarding hel- met laws. So, as nice as the state may be, Bassett is the only place I go out of my way to visit while on the road to and from Sturgis and Laconia. Maybe someday change will occur and I’ll visit the rest of this vast state... Maybe.
