Laconia Motorcycle Week® traces its
back to 1916 when two-wheeled
enthusiasts first traveled to New
Hampshire’s Lakes Region. The nine-
day event, draws nearly half a million
visitors to the Granite State each June
and runs in conjunction with a variety of motorcycle-relat- ed events throughout the state, including the Loudon Classic.
There will certainly be no shortage of motorcycle racing on NHMS’s 1.6- mile road course. Divisions include Grand Prix classes, Production class- es, Superbike classes, Supersport
The Loudon
Classic has been
held on the NHMS
site long before the
speedway was
built – back to
when it was simply
a road course
known as Bryar
Motorsports Park.
Before moving to
Bryar in 1964, it was hosted at the Belknap Recreation Area (now known as Gunstock).
The Loudon Classic main event will be run by the Loudon Road Race Series in the form of Middleweight Grand Prix. That race, as always, will take place just after lunch on Saturday, June 16. Other races, rides and series include:
OFF-TRACK FESTIVITIES: Starting on Saturday, June 9 through Sunday, June 17, the speedway will be the hub to everything motorcycle. NHMS
