ON
WITH THE
SHOW
JEN GRINSPAN
en Grinspan works in a build-
ing where people come to
escape reality, which is iron-
J
ic because she is a self-described
reality television superfreak. She
was even a contestant on The
Rebel Billionaire and was nearly
selected to appear on NBC's The
Apprentice.
“There is a glimpse of reality in
reality television,” she says.
While her evenings may be spent
with her husband scanning the
DVR for something to feed
her reality ix, her days—and
some nights, too—are spent
trying to ind new and innova-
tive ways to sell out every
event the Sun National Bank
Center hosts. “I am con-
stantly thinking about how to
do that,” she says.
Grinspan is no stranger
to life behind the scenes,
and that has nothing to do
with her brief shot at reality
stardom. As the director of
marketing at the arena, she
works to make every event a
success, operating far from
the limelight that is reserved
for the performers and the
headliners. In fact, when the
show starts, she is rarely looking at
the stage.
“Nothing is better than working
super hard to market an event
and then coming to the arena and
seeing the venue sold out and
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
seeing people excited to be here,”
she says. “Being able to see the
Sun National Bank Center
process from start to inish and
