Shelby worked
at Mr. Mikes in
Quesnel for the
last three years. She
was recently pro-
moted from host-
ing to serving. Her
co-workers think
it is absolutely ba-
dass that she races
and that it strays
away from her per-
sonality. Her class-
mates almost don’t
believe her when
she tells them she
drag races. They
think it’s crazy.
Shelby’s long term
career plan is to
be an elementa-
ry school teacher.
Shelby enjoys wa-
ter sports such as wakeboarding, knee- boarding, surfing behind the boat, and
swimming. Her family also skis and snowboards.
If they made a movie of her life, she would want Melissa Mccarthy to play her because she is hilarious. Brittany Force is her favorite racer. Shelby was the track champion for the IHRA Teen Championship class at Ni- tro raceway in Prince George in 2016 and 2017. This year she finished third in
the province for the High school class and second in Junior Street. She has also just found out that she won her second Wally in the Land of the Leaders competition for division 6.
