8.9 Technology Integration Funding. Government is providing $125 million for technology upgrading from fiscal year 1996/1997 to 2000/2001. (Per funded student payments are: $5 in January 1997; $40 in May 1997; $5 in October 1997; $40 in April 1998; $40 in April 1999; $41 in April 2000; $85 in September 2000). 8.10 Computers for Schools (CFS) Program. This program collects and refurbishes used computer technology, which is then distributed, cost free, to schools and libraries.
