The District Technology Plan Review Committee wishes to thank all who have contributed assistance, suggestions, information, research, and recommendations to the development of the Lakeland R.C.S.S. District # 150 Education and Information Technology Plan.
In October 1999, all schools completed a self assessment of their stage of technology development. Then, all schools were visited by an ALTIS Group Consultant to verify this information. In addition, a number of interviews were conducted throughout the District.
During mid January 2000 to well into February 2000, Draft # 2 was circulated to all school staff, District staff and selected stakeholders to obtain comments and suggestions for changes and additions. These comments and suggestions were used to continue the plan’s development.
This information is the basis for our District Education and Information Technology Plan. The completion of the Plan is expected by the end of May 2000 for implementation in September 2000.
A heart felt THANK YOU to everyone for your participation in this comprehensive process. Together we have developed a plan that will serve the most important people in our District, our students.
