INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT AND NETWORK CONFIGURATION
From 2000 to 2005 all buildings completed the following work to establish a reliable computer network:
Installation of standardized Novell servers
Installation of standardized 10-100 Switches
Installation of standardized data backup services
Installation of standardized battery backup services
Installation of labelled network patch panels and re- placed all damaged network drops
Installation of appropriate computer lab furniture in all locations
Installation of climate control in all computer labs
Installation of ADSL Internet services
Installation of standardized network printers
Installation of standardized Windows Staff Workstation base image
Installation of standardized Windows Student Worksta- tion base image
Installation of redundant or Gigabyte network backbones from the computer labs back to the main server switch panel.
