Apple Technology
Lakeland Catholic began exploring mobile computers in early 2005 - 2006. From 2000 - 2006 the entire school district migrated from a PC workstation standard to Apple based products. The key in this migration was the board’s decision to provide the necessary funds from operating reserves to complete the implementation of laptop technology across the school district. Currently the district supports over 2000 mobile laptops, 90 workstations with a Windows and Linux server backend.
