SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PALM BEACH COUNTY PARTNERS WITH BRAMAN MOTORCARS TO HONOR TEACHERS AND SUPPORT STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES
Since teaming up with the School District of Palm Beach County in 2016, Braman Motorcars has provided a variety of ben- e ts and initiatives to show appreciation to teachers, students, and employees.
In May 2017, the School District of Palm Beach County and Braman Motorcars joined forces during National Teacher Ap- preciation Week to celebrate the District’s ”Teacher of the Year” and “School‐Related Employee of the Year,” with a rst‐of‐its‐ kind reception for winners and nomi- nees at Braman’s state‐of‐the‐art BMW showroom in West Palm Beach. Honorees at the event included Jane Winters, the After school Site Director at Beacon Cove Intermediate School, who was honored as the School‐Related Employee of the Year for 2017, and Dr. Evangeline Agu- irre, ESOL Intensive Reading and English teacher at Palm Beach Central High School, who became the Teacher of the Year for 2017‐2018.
“Partnerships between the School District and our local businesses are essential to the success of our students and schools,” said Superintendent Robert Avossa. “Our community and business partners are important to the District, and we are grateful to Braman for stepping up to help us recognize these employees.”
At the reception, representatives from Braman had a spectacular surprise up their sleeves for both Dr. Aguirre and Ms. Winters – the gift of absolutely free, two‐ year leases on brand new BMWs!
“The development of our youth is par- amount to the long term success and development of our community” stated Stephen Grossman, General Manager of Braman Motorcars. “We plan to support the School District’s 5-year strategic plan and lead by example so that other county businesses see the potential to invest in our collective futures through our public school system” he concluded.
“I’m overwhelmed, to say the least,” Winters expressed. “Thank you Braman Motorcars!” Hosting the reception was the culmination of a growing partnership
