3. Therapy Plans
The type of ordering is determined by the PI, study coordinator and IDS based on the protocol and logistics of the study.
Individual PI’s EPIC views may differ. This SOP will cover the basic steps for entering an order for each type.
5.1 One time order
Only physicians, may order medications in EPIC Used when IP:
• Will be taken home for administration – IP that will be taken home for administration (from study visit or from discharge) will need prescription printed and scanned to IDS and the original paper prescription must be brought to IDS when picking up IP.
• Will be given one time dosing at Children’s Medical Center.
