Steps for gaining eResearch Access:
1. Gain e-Research system access: Two of the primary eResearch systems used in human subjects research are owned and coordinated by UT Southwestern.
These two systems are the electronic Institutional Review Board submission system (eIRB) and VELOS system.
Complete the survey at the following link. It will take approximately 24 business hours for access to be granted by UT Southwestern’s Information Security team. Be sure to select the eIRB and VELOS systems in your request by clicking their respective checkboxes.
