STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE Research Administration SOP No: R-Adm-003
SOP Title: Measuring Productivity: Monthly Report
iii. Deceased is the number of patients that are no longer in the study because they have passed away.
• .5 is F/U on actively enrolled subjects (screening and recruitment are not longer in effect)
8) Besides patient volumes/numbers, are the basic core protocol fields meant to be changed on a weekly basis to reflect the current state (and changing state of protocols)? For example: the protocol contains an embedded sub-study that requires quite a bit of time/work, but that sub-study won’t be open for two more months. How do I evaluate and code the protocol then and now? Are changes allowed to reflect true accuracy of time and effort?
The Protocol score remains relatively static or unchanged, the workload factors change moderately, and # of subjects are expected to fluctuate more routinely form week to week. However, when a protocol modification or adjunctive study opens, the protocol score and additional workload factors should be reevaluated at that time. You may decide that it is a better reflection of workload to capture the adjunctive study as a separate protocol and line on the CRWT. That will most likely be informed by how you are assigning your staff and distributing the workload. Essentially, find the best fit to capture the best reflection of who is doing what on each study.
9) How do we edit data? Can you change values on the excel sheet only, or must you always go into the data mode entry box? How do you go back to the data mode entry box to only change a couple of values vs having to re-enter all values?
To change or edit you should delete the row in your CRWT and renter via the data entry macro built into the tool. Be sure that the formulas are refreshed and “drug down” through the relevant cells of the tool.
