SOW
Service Order Worksheet- an internal worksheet outlining the resources and relative charges required for a given study by use of internal funds, or funds otherwise officed at Children’s Health.
CTS
Coordinator Time Sheet- A spreadsheet itemizing the time required of the study coordinator or associate in support of a research.
EPIC RBR
A billing system in EPIC wherein all charges for research patients will be generated in an EPIC report for reconciliation of charges to the respective accounting records (i.e., payor or research).
Time Tracker
A time tracking system used to provide effort justification of study coordination time toward studies.
CCRAC
Clinical Research Advisory Committee- a committee that awards donor’s funds to meritorious research with the aim of advancing care and catalyzing intramural funding.
MG
Mission Grant- an internal grant of ≤ $25,000 intended for early and senior investigators in support of mission aligned research goals at Children’s Health that do not otherwise have any funding.
SPG
Service Package Grant- an internal grant of ≤ $5,000 intended for fellow and early investigators in support of start-up or other services offered at Children’s Health that do not otherwise have any funding.
CTA
Clinical Trial Agreement- A contract usually between presiding research site entity and the sponsor outlining the terms and conditions of the study, budget and coverage analysis.
CTCA
Clinical Trial Coverage Analysis- a determination of the responsible entity of all procedures required for a protocol according to the protocol specifications and the institution’s required billing structure.
