SOP Title: Study Initiation: eResearch Systems
Create Study within eIRB system
Once the study has been registered in Velos and the study status of “IRB-
Submission Initiated” has been added in Velos, the study will appear in the Tasks tab in eIRB.
Log into the eIRB website: IRB Studies
Click on the eIRB Studies Tab.
Click the hyperlinked study name to access the study.
Click the Edit Study button.

Answer all questions on the SmartForm as they apply to your study Click the Continue button to proceed to the next section.
When you get to the final page, you will click the Finish button.
