Velos is a multi-purpose system utilized by research coordinators at both CHST and UTSW. Velos serves as the first step for research study registration and brings each new project to the attention of the UTSW Grants and Contracts Office. This is also the place where coordinators will submit for performance site approval and will track the status of the research study contract.
Research coordinators will also use the Velos system to track patient registration. By entering a patient into Velos, that patient will be flagged as active in a research study in his/her EPIC medical record. Follow this link to utilize the system: Velos
