a crocodile.
The KIDS form an orderly queue.
NOBBY (CONT'D)
Gotta rush, I’ll call you later.
TERRY
But...
EXT. LONDON - EVENING
TERRY potters home on his scooter, the box of Playboys strapped to the back.
INT. FISH AND CHIP SHOP - NIGHT
TERRY waits for his Fish and Chips. His gaze falls on a
tacky calendar featuring a MODEL advertising pasties.
CHIP SHOP BLOKE (O.S.)
Salt and Vinegar? GORGEOUS
INT. TERRY’S FLAT. MAIN ROOM - NIGHT
TERRY scoops mushy peas with a cold chip as he flips
through the last few pages of a Playboy. Then adds it
to the pile of those he’s already gone through.
He wipes his greasy fingers on his shirt and reaches
into the box for another magazine.
Pulls out a MANUAL.
The ‘THE BACHELOR’S GUIDE TO SUCCEEDING WITH WOMEN’.
It’s ring-bound, type written, dog eared and probably a
mail order.
TERRY stares at it for a couple of seconds.
Curious, he can’t resist having a quick look inside.
As he reads the Introduction we hear the VOICE of the
author.
