an impregnable barrier against
nature to keep the elements out.
TIM
Fantastic! And it could double as a
bomb shelter when Putin presses the
big red button!
INT. SOUTHON MANOR - DAY
REX arrives home, sugared and hyperactive. AIRENE greets him. AIRENE
How was school?
He throws off his backpack and sets off in search of trouble. GORGEOUS
REX
Get out of my way!
INT. SOUTHON MANOR. CORRIDOR - DAY
REX runs screaming at the top of his voice. Then sees
something and stops, walks back to a door. It’s unlocked! He sneaks in, aware it’s out of bounds. He bangs on the drums.
As he takes a guitar from the wall, he drops it. It hits the floor with a painful clang. Wearing the crash helmet he
wields the sword and fights an invisible opponent. Sends
awards flying. He tries to pot a Snooker ball but rips a
large tear in the baize. Then he sees it! The iPad
controller! He starts playing with the controls. The curtains open and close. The TV comes on. ‘Anarchy in the UK’ blasts
at full volume. BEN bursts in. The music is so loud you can’t hear what he’s shouting. As he tries to wrestle the iPad off
REX it flies across the room and smashes against the wall.
The music dies. The two combatants stares silently at the
damage. TIM rushes in.
TIM
What are you doing in here? You
know you’re not allowed!
