NIKKI preens her incredible floral arrangement that perfectly compliments the art and furniture in the room.
INT. STAIRS - DAY
TIM comes down the staircase, glued to his phone, passes
NIKKI fussing over the flowers.
NIKKI
Morning.
TIM
(glances up)
Hey, how’s it going? You’re doing
an awesome job! Excellent!
INT. KITCHEN - DAY
TIM fancies himself as a bit of a Barista. He shakes High- Altitude Vietnamese coffee beans, expelled by a wild civet,
onto his scales. Grinds them in a conical grinder, tamps with surgical precision, locks the Portafilter into his classic
chrome Italian Coffee Machine and pulls a shot. Checks the
crema. Sniffs it. Takes a sip and winces. It’s sour. Again.
The Filipina Day Nanny, AIRENE, arrives. GORGEOUS
AIRENE
Morning Mr Tim!
TIM
Hey, how’s it going? All good?
JANE and AIRENE chat in their native tongue. They both stop
and stare at TIM, presumably talking about him.
TIM (CONT'D)
(confused)
What?
JANE heads off with her bag and coat.
JANE
See you later, alligator.
TIM
In a while, crocodile.
