In contrast to Ptolemy’s Geocentric Model, the modern Heliocentric Model shows Jupiter motions revolving around the sun. The Earth orbits the sun just as Jupiter does. There is no epicycle. (The Earth, blue dot; the sun, yellow dot; Jupiter, red dot).
