Galiet & Galiet
sacred Word “whose power is manifested in the performance of the sacrifice”16 whose steed is yoked by King Dushyanta’s prayers of pity, mercy and reunion. Indra’s chariot ultimately descends from aether or akasa’s sphere to land, without sound (VII, 10), divinely, in the land of Kasyapa’s hermitage where reunion with his child and Sakuntala of his heart await him beyond the labyrinth of torment, grief and remorse as he is welcomed to the heart of mercy, pity, peace and love:
Mercy has a human heart, Pity, a human face, Love, the human form divine and Peace, the human dress.
