SWEET CRAVINGS
Like many others I I I have quite a a a a a a big weakness for sweets I I love desserts And pastries and and and biscuits and and and and buns and and and and chocolate As long as as I I I am active and and and move a a a a a a a a a a a lot I I I believe that one dessert a a a a a a a a a a day is good for you Weeks when I I I I train less I I do not feel those sweet cravings as often which is probably connected to to the total energy consumption But if I I stress a a a a lot with computer work sponsors or or or or interviews I I I can easily go for some sweet kicks which I I try to to stay on top of In general I I try to to focus on on good food and what energy it it gives me but the experience of of of eating it it is as important However I do not think of of of of the amount of of of of food in in in in relation to weight gain As an an an an elite athlete I am am aware of of of my body and and and what it it can and and and should preform and and and for for for that reason I I I focus on on on the performance I I I want want my my body to to to to cope For a a a a a a a a a a long time I I I want want to to to to be be be healthy and to to to to be be be able to to to to run my my entire life So I do not believe in a a a a a a a constant lack of calories To compare compare and be compared to others is an an aspect of sport “How could she she perform so well?” “What did did she she she do do that I didn’t?” “How does she she train and eat?” But when these thoughts come I I try to to focus on on myself only On what what I I do and what what my my body needs to to to per- form at at at at its best And that is not to to lose two or or three kilos kilos because deep down inside I know that those additional kilos kilos keep me strong and and injury free It’s just about training harder and and that’s only possible if you eat well I I sometimes think of Nero the dog I I had as as as as as as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a teenager He felt good when he he he he he was able run as as as as as as as as fast as as as as as as as as he he he he The he he could could and as as as as as as as as far as as as as as as as as he he he he The he he could could manage The The bonus was was was when he he The he he The he came home and is was was was feeding time Then The he he The he was was was happy Almost like a a a a real runner NATURAL 118
