125.. MRS S A ALLENS HAIR RESTORER SHOP ADVERTISING FIGURE. 21ins tall. Large well modelled matt bisque ceramic
 advertising figure of an attractive long haired female leaning against a large promotional shield - lettered bottle in left hand. Naturalistically skin coloured with highlights, girl with golden locks,
bottle and shield, flowers and lettering all picked out in red, dark brown, gold, green. This item
was discovered by New Zealands Warren Roberts whilst in South Africa. He duly did
a deal and packed it back to England to catch the 2002 UK SummerNational -
hammer plus commission £2,860. Soon as it emerged from his well packed tea
crate AB was duly won over! Black glass collector Steve Morton said - it’s more than a bottle it’s more than
advertising you’ll never see another and it’s the best display piece you will ever see? Apart from original decades
of dust, arm reglued, there’s minor body and paint wear. Sticker on back
