very rare early 20th century copper can for transporting
cream from farm to railway. Impressed lid J TAYLOR/
CREAM/ NO11/ VIA GWR TAUNTON, GALLON to front.
This is smaller than usual reflecting the fact it was used for
cream rather than milk. 9/10.

Impressive large size
early 20th century
churn, would typically
have been re filled
daily from the back of the milk mans float. This
large size suggest been for a big household or
small shop? Good. 9/10.

shield to front engraved
CWS/ DAIRY, side handles.
Very heavy. 9/10
452. GOLDEN SYRUP
DISPENSER. 24 x 14ins. Tin
churn on cast iron legs, front
leaver to dispense the syrup,
lift up lid to top, handles to side.
Quite heavy. Some general
wear to the body green & gold
lettering. Very much admired
during salesroom display. Very
rare with base support. 7.75/10

FRAMED CAKE TOPPERS
DISPLAY. 16 x 20 x 2.75ins.
1902- 1952. Cake toppers
made from icing. An
incredible survivour. The cake was presented to F A Symonds
by the staff to the Director of the Reading Brewery for 50 yrs
service. General ageing. 7/10 NR.

ADVERT. 37.5 x 28.5ins frame to frame, 29 x 20ins
advert. Marbled style letters, large coat of arms to centre.
Visible wear. Shown here minus frame. 7/10

36.5ins. Dark wood, two shelves, black glass plinth with gold
& silver lettering. General usage wear. A very rare shop biscuit
