97. GLOUCESTER POT LID. (APL p156). 3.9ins diam. STEPHENS POTTED FISH AND MEATS. Large central factory pictorial - really strong,
detailed back transfer. Some outer edge discolouration (in
manufacture?), bottom edge flake restored doesn’t show on
display. A particularly rare offering and a very impressive large size lid. 8/10 NR £300-400+
98. LONDON POT LID. 3.1ins diam. A very distinctive lid with a really crisp/ detailed strong pink transfer. CRYSTAL PALACE EXHIBITION 1851 around the famed (sadly burnt down) edifice with figures
around. See multi coloured lid (CM140) for a similar design made for Crosse & Blackwell. A rare offering. A few bottom edge nibbles to lid & light. Very rare. 7.5/10. NR £60-80+
99. GOLDEN EYE OINTMENT POT LID WITH BASE. 1.6ins diam. EYE OINTMENT with detailed eye to centre, radiating lines, decorative (smudged) outer border. Lid and tall base (see easylive extra images)
