48. DOULTON LAMBETH STONEWARE ISOBATH INKWELL. 6.2ins tall. Doulton Lambeth inkwell decorated with floral designs and produced
in a very attractive brown and blue glaze. The inkwell retains its original internal mechanism, circa 1889. Various impressed marks to the base. Some base nibbles, displays fantastically. 8.5/10 NR. £170-220+

figure newsboy naturalistically painted
- front placard proclaiming the EXTRA SPECIAL/ GREENLEES/ CLAYMORE/THE FAVOURITE/ SCOTCH/ EVERYWHERE, and ASK FOR/ CLAYMORE to front of base plinth. Finger ends are prone to damage - fine of this example. Body crazing all over with in manufacture flaw to boys right cheek, otherwise a wonderful undamaged example. Very rarely seen on the open market. 9/10 NR. £700-800+
