of the set of three - quite superb. Elegant form long rear curved (delicate) handle, shaped pouring lip. Black body, gold ornamentation, three sepia transfers: portrait of Sir John Jellicoe to front, H.M.S. Sydney one side, H.M.S. New Zealand to other. WATSON/ NO 10/ WHISKY in shield to neck. Underside MADE IN ENGLAND FOR JAS WATSON & CO LTD DUNDEE. Minor wear, no damages. 9/10. NR. £400-600+
97. WATSONS 1815 - 1915 WHISKY DECANTER. 11.3ins tall. Tapering hexagonal shape, slightly flared base, shapely curvilinear lip & facetted pear shaped stopper, decorated curved handle. Sepia images of Asquith one side, King George V to other. In banners to neck 1815-1915/ WARSONS/ WHISKY etc. Rd No transfer to base 651677 (1894). Quite impressive. No damages. 9/10. NR. £350-400+
98. JAS WATSON CENTENARY WHISKY JUG DECANTER. 10.7ins tall to top of lozenge shape stopper. Attractive blue & white ornately decorated pear shape decanter depicts Lord Kitchener one side (1915), Duke of Wellington to other (1815). Transferred base p.m. (Regd No 625614
