size. French cobalt blue teakettle fountain ink. Complete with original cap - shape was also used by

sides rising to tented top with a central daisy motif.

(Inks Book T10 12.9. Matthews M126. Covill 1283/4). 2ins tall. Burst lip partially ground down for a metal cap. 16 flutes to the sides gathered back in at the base. A very are mould resembling a jelly. In a delightful, unusual colouration for any teakettle, sapphire blue. GB Collection. French. Full of air bubbles, in manufacture flaws - - extremely crude. (Inks Book p356 T10 10.3). 2.2ins tall. Vibrant emerald green teakettle fountain, tapered sides, gathered back in at base, sunken disk to the upper surface. The spout set on the junction of two sides. French. Guy Burch Reserve Collection. Various air bubbles in manufacture flaws, overall very good. 8.8/10. NR. £150-200+

variant to the
