225. LEICESTER MORNING TONIC SEA BREEZE
SHOP WINDOW ADVERTISING DISPLAY. 26ins tall,
17.5ins wide, 6.25ins deep. Although in need of some
t.l.c. we offer a unique (surely?), hand made, plaster of
Paris large 3D tin look-alike shop window display piece.
Rear photograph reveals the rudimentary construction
method with supports, other image shows Carly for
scale! The pictorial tiled facade of the building still
stands in Leicester to this day & we show
here a blue glass labelled bottle from the
company depicting the same sailing ship
pictorial image & the actual building. Despite
considerable damages and colour loss this
represents a significant regional advertising
promotional rarity for a well known local
landmark/ past company - well worthy of
careful restoration. 7/10? NR.
