An interesting trio
of three different compoany named Lovatt made jugs, of similar style.
103. OFFILERS NUT BROWN ALES & SPECIAL RESERVE SCOTCH WHISKY PUB JUG. 6.2ins tall, rear handle. Shiny dark blue top, lower matt, stippled, light blue. Rare to get both a beer & whisky attribute on a jug. Lovatt base marks. No damages. 9.5/10. NR.
106. WHITBREAD PALE ALE ADVERTISING FIGURE. 16ins
tall. Heavy, cast metal bar top naturalistically coloured full figure, elongated neck, promotional paper beer label (slight wear) to chest.
Base plinth with raised lettering GOOD FOR HIM & GOOD FOR YOU/ SINCE/ SEVENTEEN HUNDRED & FORTY TWO. A rare back bar figure - would rate this as one of the best condition examples I have ever seen? 9/10. NR.
104. CHARLTON SHEPTON MALLET BEERS & STOUT BREWERY PUB JUG. 5.7ins tall, rear handle. Shiny dark blue top, lower matt, stippled, light blue. Various Lovatt base marks. No damages. 9.5/10. NR.
107. WHITBREADS STOUT & ALE ASHTRAY. 5.3ins diam. Skin tone coloured shallow dish, brown outer rim (minor wear) - large animal head t.m. to centre.Great condition - quite rare! 9/10. NR.
105. QUINCETS TABLE WATERS PUB JUG. 4.7ins tall, rear handle. Shiny dark blue top, lower matt, stippled, light blue. No damages. NR.
Ale.. Ele Curtis Collection. Serrated bottom outer ri. Exc/ A1 - in fact one of the best exmples of this (beer label often worn) I have ever seen. 9.5/10. NR.
