148. GIANT FOOTBALLERS CADGER PIPE. 8.5ins long. Delightful large size pipe bowl depicting footballers one side, rugger players to other. Rd No 241693 impressed both sides on the stem = 1893. commonly known as ‘cadgers’, the joke being that you would ask a friend for a pipe of tobacco and then produce a giant one to be filled. Some slight wear & dirt, but no damages. 9/10 NR £30-40+
