SINGLE OWNER CYLINDER CREAM POT COLLECTION
BBR has been consigned a single owner 70 plus cream
pot cylinder collection, put together over many years. All
to be dispersed across four auctions starting in April, after that spread in July and October, then January 2023. We do this to avoid the obvious of flooding the market!
We are hugely grateful to Ryan
Batler for scouring through all
and giving them a rarity grade.
At the end of the description
we ascribe out of 10, 10 being
the very rarest. Thus: 1-2 = common, 3-4 = uncommon, 5-6 = scarce, 7-8 rare, 9-10 = very rare.
As with most cylinders there tends to be a fair amount of damage but, like ointment pots, some of these are so ultra rare, when will you see another?

Non bordered design of five lines of different fonts DEVONSHIRE CLOTTED CREAM/ FRESH DAILY/ BLACKMOOR VALE DAIRIES/ BOURNEMOUTH, with stylish floral background. Spot the small example in the penultimate row amongst the full collection grouping. Couple hairlines to rear & some marks, may clean better? RB 9. 7.5/10. NR. £120-150+
