79. GREENLEES 1884 SILICON ARTWARE WHISKY BARREL. Approx. 4.8ins diam at it’s widest, 8.25ins long from barrel end to tip of pouring spout, 8.8ins tall when on the stand. A superb ornamental Doulton stoneware barrel embellished with much raised decoration (blue, brown, cream) and metal bands (cannot see any silver/ EPNS marks - surely? Slight tarnishing), decorative screw stopper, separate wooden & metal stand plus front shield for
GREENLESS/ HIGHLAND/ WHISKY. A very rare, rather special, whisky related piece, never seen another? No damages. NR. 9/10. £200-300+
80. DOULTON ARTWARE WHISKY FLAGON. 7.5ins tall. Multi-coloured
stoneware handled flagon, much raised adornment/ decoration all over the body. SCOTCH WHISKY in raised letters around
neck. Checked Jocelyn Lukins book & there is nothing even comparable to such a
splendidly adorned example - a one off/ trial/ exhibition piece perhaps? Various
base marks/ signature. No damages. 10/10. £120-

81. DOULTON ARTWARE WHISKY FLAGON. 8.1ins tall. Shiny multi-coloured stoneware handled whisky flagon. Mid green body, raised floral & leaf sprig like decoration. Various base marks/ signature. Another not included in Jocelyn Lukins page of such - very Art Deco in style fabulous? 10/10. NR. £60-80+
6.9ins tall. (WG p51). Shiny Artware style - dark blue, with green tinges, body, brown neck, pouring lip & handle. Applied cut out front cartouche with Big Ben clock tower pict.... TEN YEARS OLD below. Attributed to L Denman, c. 1934, though not marked as such. Various Doulton base marks. Very attractive. No damages. 10/10. £80-120+
83. IRISH WHISKY HIP FLASK. 4.5ins tall. Narrow body, round shouldered, shiny overall brown glaze, wood like texture flask. Multi- coloured inset front image of drunk pulling over lamp post and Heres/ to Both/ of you! Original stopper. Very good. 10/10. NR. £20-30+
