8ins tall. An absolutely fabulous example of an
English shaft & globe wine bottle, c. 1665-70.
Dark olive green/ brown glass, full sheen. Tooled
lip, fully intact chunky string rim below. Base
kick up & sharp pontil. Hand written DWB base
label reads: Discovered beneath floor boards
of UBLEY MANOR, AVON in 1982. Ex David
Walker Barker collection. Exc/A1 - about as
