fabulous early, c. 1800, mug. Silver rim, hand
applied handle. Very deep,
well modelled, sprigs, the main
front square sprig features a
farmyard scene referred to as
Cock On A Dung Heap. DD

underside hairlines (stable)
otherwise a most spectacular,
large, piece. Very rare. 9/10.

salt glaze puzzle jug, typical (well modelled) lower
sprigs. Carefully cut out design in top two thirds -
hearts in middle section. DD Collection. Old/ stable
rim hairline does not really detract - a wonderful

dark brown salt glaze puzzle jug with some very
fine pierced decoration. Never seen one with a
pouring lip before? Probable early - circa 1820
