As I reflect on my years on the board, I would like to thank everyone that has helped and supported me along the way. There are too many to mention, but include my fellow superintendents and all the board of directors I have served with over the years, both nationally and provincially with the Saskatchewan Turfgrass Association.
The true reward of being involved with the CGSA, as a member and Board member, has been expanding my network nationally and meeting colleagues I would otherwise have never had the chance to meet. I truly appreciate the friendships made and knowledge we share.
Thank you to the CGSA staff, Kathryn, Jeff, Barb, and Lori. Your hard work and dedication to the association over the years is appreciated. And to my employer, the City of Prince Albert, and our staff at the golf course. I have been fortunate to work with dedicated turf crews through the years.
Finally, thank you to my wife, Kerry, and daughters Raelyn and Ashley for their encouragement and support while taking this opportunity to serve and give back to this great industry.
Here’s hoping for a great 2023 and beyond and looking forward to seeing everyone in Vancouver!
