 No one saw it coming or ever thought we would experience a pandemic in our lifetime. We certainly weren’t prepared for 2+ years of lockdowns and restrictions that engrained us with insecurity, fear, isola- tion, feeling a loss of control and, let’s face it, COVID fatigue and boredom. While nothing prepared us for a long-term crisis like this, owners and operators did their best to react to the situation while running the golf course and following sanctioned protocols.
This crisis has changed us and it has forever altered our perspective. So, what now? We have to navigate through this unprecedented experi- ence and find effective ways to lead the organization and its people in the new normal.
WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER Perhaps, there is a silver lining. Strong leaders have had to be more creative in the way they lead. They’ve become more resilient by shifting and pivoting to meet restrictions and new demands. They’ve learned to adapt and evolve the business amid this adversity. And, they’ve shown that
